Still useful when convenience and breadth of integrations matter more than squeezing maximum flexibility out of the workflow. For simple automations, that convenience can be worth paying for.

Worth looking at if open-source options matter to you and you want a lighter alternative in the same general category. As with any smaller ecosystem, check whether the exact integrations you need are mature enough.
How I’d choose
Don’t start with “which tool is best?” Start with the workflow. If it’s short and predictable, favor convenience. If it’s likely to become custom, favor control. If self-hosting matters, narrow the field immediately.
